Resplendent in Nardo Grey and boasting the attractive Carbon Black styling pack, this ‘71’ plate RS6 Avant looks every bit the low mileage of just 8,694 miles. Having just been treated to a full detail and machine polish on arrival with us the condition of the paintwork is absolutely first-rate with hardly a stone chip in sight. She’s arrow-straight along both sides with finer details such as the badges, grilles and trims all in perfect order. The exterior is lifted further with lashings of glossy carbon fibre, again all in amazing condition and presenting with a deep shine.

Interior

The lavishly appointed and spacious cabin is a great place to be. The black upholstery and carpets are a perfect complement to the Nardo paintwork and, much like the exterior, present in exceptional condition throughout. The electric seats are absolutely pristine with only the very lightest of wrinkles on the driver’s outer bolster to note. There is no marking or wear to either the centre console, switchgear or touchscreens, and even the Alcantara steering wheel is perfect. The stunning finish is topped off with subtle carbon twill inlays and ambient mood lighting. Additional spec over standard includes a panoramic glass sunroof, rear side airbags, Advance Key, Park Assist Plus with 360 cameras, and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system (a £6k+ option alone).

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

At the heart of the RS6 is a twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8 producing just shy of 600hp and sounding great through the factory-optional Sports exhaust. As to be expected, the engine bay is exceptionally clean with no damage or wear to any of the ancillary parts or plastic trims. The car has just returned from being serviced by Swindon Audi.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Being a Carbon Black Edition this RS6 sits on striking 22-inch V-spoke alloys, all in excellent original condition with no kerb marking to report. They are wrapped in matching Pirelli PZero tyres with plenty of tread left. The red brake calipers (another cost option) present immaculately and do an excellent job of bringing this 591hp behemoth to a stop quickly and in a straight line.

History File

This highly spec’d RS6 Carbon Black Edition was supplied new by Coulsdon Audi in September 2021. It has now driven only 8,694 miles in the hands of 3 registered keepers. For the new owner’s peace of mind, a fresh service was recently carried out by Swindon Audi in April 2023 at 8,666 miles.
