Diamond Black Metallic paintwork, Silver leather upholstery, 14-inch cross-spoke alloys, Soft-top in black, 4-Speed automatic transmission, Leather steering wheel, Sports seats, Electric windows front and rear, Analogue clock, Lockable glove compartment, BMW torch, Cigarette lighter, Ashtray, Carpet mats, Panasonic cassette radio, Immobiliser, Spare key.

This low mileage 325i looks great in metallic Diamantschwarz, one of our favourite BMW colours of the era. The paintwork remains in great condition with little more than a dusting of stone chips, one or two small marks, and a discreet blister low down on the driver’s side rear arch to report. Being a facelift car this one sports the later style body-coloured bumpers, again both in fine order. The lights are also clear and crack-free. The manual-folding soft-top is equally well presented, and without a complex electric/hydraulic mechanism to go wrong it will never fail to operate. The roof has always been folded away correctly and so the rear screen is undamaged.

The interior is trimmed in airy silver leather which is a great contrast to the paintwork. In line with the low mileage the front sports seats show only minimal wear to the bases and bolsters, and the rears are also clean with little evidence of use. The dashboard and centre console are unmarked and there are no cracks on top of the dash (a common E30 issue if left outside to bake in the sun). Even finer details such as the switchgear and steering wheel are really well presented, and in the footwells the pale carpets are well protected by a full set of mats.

The silky-smooth 2.5-litre straight six engine starts first turn of the key and idles up to temperature correctly. The engine bay retains a clean appearance with no signs of any damage or previous poor repair. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed ‘switchable’ automatic transmission that functions well on test. The car was most recently serviced at 64,562 miles in December 2022.
