Exterior

This low mileage XKR looks nearly as fresh as the day it rolled out the factory. All of the lights and trims are immaculate and there are only a handful of minor stone chips to the lower section of the front bumper. Everything looks crisp and there are no unsightly parking dinks or scratches, the only noticeable imperfection being the start of a little bubbling on the edge of the driver’s front wing. All the aluminium and rubber trims around the windows are in fine condition with no perishing or fading, and the windscreen has only a couple of small stone chips.

Interior

Climbing onboard, you are treated to a sumptuous dark leather interior that presents in beautiful condition, still retaining that new car smell. The seats are in first-rate order with virtually no wear to the bolsters or discolouration to the ivory stitching. Normally you would expect to find some small scratches or marks around the door handles, armrests, and centre console, but this example seems to have remained almost untouched. The steering wheel also retains its textured finish with no signs of wear, the headlining and carpets are unmarked, and the boot area is very clean.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

At the heart of the XKR is a supercharged 5-litre V8 producing more than 500hp; 0-60mph is achieved in just 4.6 seconds. The engine bay of this beautiful example presents well and reading through the paperwork it’s clear that the car has always been maintained to a high standard. The last service was carried out by Jaguar Stratstone in October 2022 at 34,145 miles. 

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

Filling the arches are the original 20-inch Nevis alloy wheels, all in perfect unmarked condition having just returned from a full refurb at Lepsons; brand new centre badges have also been fitted for a perfect finish. The wheels are shod in matching Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres with ample tread left at each corner. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition with new front discs and pads all round having been fitted in October 2022. Between the spokes the contrasting red calipers look great with no major marks or fading.

History File

The current owner of four years bought the XKR from Jaguar Stratstone with their full warranty and service pack. The maintenance history is complete with 11 recorded services, 9 by Jaguar main agents and 2 by specialists. Included within the accompanying History File are a number of service invoices, Jaguar warranty documents, MOT certificates, a spare key, and the V5C registration document showing 5 former keepers.
