Exterior

This striking example is finished in desirable Crystal Topaz, a quintessential TVR colour that’s sure to draw many admiring glances out on the road. The pearl effect paint presents to an excellent standard throughout with a deep iridescent shine to report across every panel. The sleek fiberglass bodywork has held up especially well and is for the most part excellent. Being really picky there are a couple of minor surface cracks on the leading edge of the service bonnet as well a few small chips around the headlights, but certainly nothing to detract from the car’s overall highly impressive appearance. Better still, the underside is also remarkably fresh with no corrosion issues in any of the common TVR weak spots.

Interior

The Tuscan’s interior does not disappoint either. Trimmed in supple Portland Grey leather with complementing grey carpets the cabin is bright and airy – especially with the top removed. The deeply bolstered sports seats are in fantastic original condition, and both remain feeling comfortable and supportive. Some light patina on the driver’s side is visible but this is hardly unexpected for a light-coloured bucket seat with 54k miles under its belt. The interior is lifted further with lashings of aluminium trim and contrasting golden switchgear. Commonly worn items such as the steering wheel and gear knob appear in fine order, and the carpets are free from any heavy stains or marking. Open the rear lid and you’ll find a surprisingly generous boot space, perfectly proportioned to house the roof panel and rear screen when not in use.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Reading through the service booklet it’s clear that this one has always been maintained to a high standard. There are 14 entries in the book, all at close mileage intervals. The last service was carried out by notable TVR specialist, Topcats Racing Ltd, in July 2022 less than 500 miles ago. For the new keeper’s peace of mind the car has just returned from having a full mechanical inspection and health check at our trusted classic car workshop. All of us here have had a go in the car and we can honestly say that it’s one of the nicest TVRs we’ve driven.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The Tuscan sits on its original 18-inch Spider alloys, all in very good condition with only few minor kerb marks on the front wheels to report. They are shod in good quality tyres all round, with matching Toyo Proxes at the front and Goodyear Eagle F1s at the rear. The AP brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, effortlessly bringing the car to a stop quickly and in a straight line.

History File

This beautiful Tuscan Speed Six was supplied new by TMS Performance Vehicles (TVR) Limited in Melton Mowbray. It was first registered in December 2000 and has now driven only 54k miles in the hands of 8 registered keepers. It has been the current owner’s pride and joy since 2016 but unfortunately due to the looming ULEZ expansion the time has come for it to find a new home.

The original TVR ring binder/owner’s manual is still present within the accompanying History File, along with a spare remote key, invoices, and MOTs. The stamped service history is as follows:
