Exterior

Finished in timeless Grand Prix White (P5V8), this 1988 Porsche 911 3.2 Cabriolet SE presents beautifully under our studio lighting. The clean, narrow-bodied stance with the sport equipment rear 'whale-tail', front chin spoiler, and uprated suspension give the car real presence, perfectly complemented by correct Fuchs alloy wheels and crisp black exterior detailing. The underside is also in superb order, having had all surfaces treated and waxoyled in recent years. Panel fit is tight and consistent, the paintwork retains a deep, even finish, and the dark blue hood sits neatly, completing a purposeful yet refined exterior that captures the essence of an air-cooled 911 at its best.

Interior

The interior is beautifully presented in Marine Blue leather, with supportive sports seats enhanced by white piping, a tasteful contrast. Electric height adjustment ensures a comfortable driving position, while matching blue carpets complete the period-correct colour scheme. Discreetly upgraded with the desirable Porsche PCCM infotainment system, the cabin now blends classic character with modern usability. All the switchgear and dials are working as they should, including the electrically operated soft-top and vehicle immobiliser.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine is a 3.2-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six air-cooled unit producing 231 bhp. This example is equipped with the stronger and more refined Getrag G50 gearbox and hydraulic clutch (introduced in 1987). Recent work includes new Bilstein shocks, torsion and sway bar bushes, starter motor, 4 Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, and an underbody refresh and treatment. The most recent service was carried out by Brian Miller Motors (Porsche specialist) in April 2025 at 108,549 miles.

History File

This example comes with a comprehensive history file boasting 31 service stamps across two Porsche maintenance books (entries below). Also included is a thick raft of invoices, a selection of tax discs, MOT certificates dating back to the early 90s, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity confirming the original build spec, spare keys, and owner’s manuals.
