Exterior

Alpine White suits the muscular proportions of the F87 M2 Competition perfectly, giving a clean contrast against its sporty black detailing and really emphasising the dramatically flared arches that give the model such presence. Having driven just 32k miles in the hands of only 2 clearly very careful owners, this particular example presents in excellent condition throughout. The car is entirely unmodified other than a colour change of the original 19-inch alloy wheels, all of which present perfectly with a satin Gold Bronze finish reminiscent of the latest M2 CS.

Interior

The driver-focused cabin immediately feels like a proper M car. Supportive sports seats, an excellent driving position, and familiar BMW ergonomics combine with the Competition-specific detailing to create an environment that is purposeful without sacrificing everyday comfort. This one is also very nicely specified with both the M2 Comfort Pack and Plus Pack, adding useful equipment to what is already a very capable everyday performance car. In line with the low mileage the interior remains in excellent condition with almost no signs of use in any of the commonly worn areas.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

Introduced as a significant evolution of the original M2, the Competition gained the formidable twin-turbocharged S55 straight-six from the M3 and M4, along with substantial chassis, braking, and cooling upgrades. In manual form it offers an increasingly rare combination: a compact, rear-wheel-drive BMW M car with a powerful straight 6 and three pedals. Better still, this one has always been serviced exclusively within the BMW main dealer network, lastly in July 2026 at 31,523 miles.

History File

First registered in late 2018, this manual M2 Comp has covered just 32k miles from new with only one former keeper. It has always been maintained at BMW, and the accompanying paperwork also includes the original bill of sale adding further substance to its provenance. Enormously capable and refreshingly analogue in the areas that matter, the M2 Competition has all the ingredients of a future BMW classic.
