Exterior

This low mileage, low owner RS Cosworth looks fantastic in metallic Moonstone. The paintwork presents to a very high standard throughout with little more than a few minor stone chips to report. There are no unsightly scuffs, scrapes, or scratches to be found, and along both sides the panels are straight and true. The lights are also in excellent condition, all damage-free and with no signs of any moisture ingress. All in all, a cossetted example looking every bit the low mileage of 53k.

Interior

The ‘90s cabin remains in superb order throughout. The deeply bolstered Recaro seats are trimmed in Raven leather and show few signs of use, with other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel and gear knob also in first-rate condition, both still retaining great textured finishes. There is no damage to any of the delicate centre console or dash trims, the switchgear is reassuringly solid to operate, and even the original Ford cassette radio is still in place for a truly period-correct appearance. 

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine bay is very tidy with no signs of any damage or poor repair to be found. Despite the limited miles driven in recent years, the current owner has certainly kept on top of the car’s maintenance. Notable work includes a complete turbo rebuild and rolling road setup in June 2023, and in 2022 the engine was also fully stripped and rebuilt with all-new pistons, rings, bearings, con rods, bolts, gaskets, seals, etc. The last oil change was carried out in December 2025, and for additional peace of mind the car has just been inspected by our trusted classic car specialist.

History File

This stunning example was first registered in June 1991. It was supplied new by Peoples Liverpool Limited and has now driven a mere 53k miles in the hands of 4 keepers. The current owner acquired the car from us in 2020 and since then he has spent around £12k keeping it in fine mechanical fettle. The accompanying history is complete with the original Peoples Ford document pack including the service booklet and all owners’ manuals, a raft of maintenance invoices and period ownership documents, MOT certificates, and original sales brochures.
